The total effective radiated power increase will take us from 3kW to 50kW. Licensed, we currently reach a population area with over 400,000 residents and the increase in power will have a population gain to reach a region with nearly a million residents.

Focusing on positive, informative and thought-provoking news plus more live and local music than any other station in the region, KRFC 88.9 FM Radio Fort Collins prides itself in serving with a true purpose to help its listeners stay informed and entertained. The station supports counties, cities and so many local businesses and organizations by airing critical Public Service Announcements especially during the COVID-19 pandemic and other critical messaging for subjects such as the importance of the Census.
