Healthy Aging Resources
As the Northern Colorado population ages, connecting older adults, their families, and caregivers with essential information and resources for healthy aging and well-being has been the goal of many incredible service organizations in our community for decades. Thanks to a generous grant from NextFifty Initiative (next50initiative.org), KRFC has created this wonderful resource center to provide you, our community members, with important information to help anyone caring for or working with older adults, and for those seeking key information for themselves.
Healthy Aging Tip of the Month
Take a Walk
Incorporating walking into your lifestyle can be a lifesaver. This exercise can help you maintain weight, manage stress and improve balance and coordination. A routine of walking is also a good way to clear your head, improve your mood and improve your sleep. Once you decide to take the first step, better health will surely follow.
