Since KRFC is celebrating 20 years on the air, this week Michael revisits his conversation with KRFC founding board member Jen Lowry. Jen is a NOCO veterinarian and owner of Four Seasons Veterinary Specialists, a full service animal hospital located just off of I-25 in Loveland. After graduating from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1987, Jen came to CSU for a radiology residency and master’s degree, ultimately becoming a board certified veterinary radiologist in 1991. Sure, she knows her stuff when it come to the health and well being of our furry friends, but did you know that she plays violin in a well respected NOCO orchestra? That she helped bring KRFC from an idea to a real, on-air radio station? Or that, yes, she wore safety pins in her ears at one time?
